Mozaïek
/ˌmoː.zaːˈik/
Mosaic. Borrowed from Middle French mosaïque. A surface decoration made by inlaying small pieces of variously colored material to form pictures or patterns.
Bedazzling, seductive, mysterious: the impressions I try to capture with a Mozaïek. Each Mozaïek is a patchwork of revitalised scraps, adorned with rhinestones and beads. Each piece is finished with a signed tag, painted on raw cotton.
